The betrayal of my self-belief
stabbed me in the back again and again
The trust before the suspicion
The path we've followed in the maze
What are you searching for?
Sweet nothings tearing us down
What are you waiting for?
Bitterness waking us up
Isolation, I bring it on myself
Desperation, I'll see the truth
Separation, It's just our fate
Realization, after we lost the faith
Some knives behind the trust
Where can I find some truthfulness?
No excuse for the trace of you
There is no way to be back
I will never be the same like before
I will walk with my faith in the mist
I will see the light at the end of the days
Things are not always as they seem to be
As I lay remembering all the pain and suffering I've been through these past few years,
I wonder what the future holds for me

The whole album is pure gold! Sometimes I just sit down and listen to the whole album and do nothing else. Awesome rhythms, riffs and Courtney's golden voice! <3 Pazi

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
